Book Review: Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugh

Siege and StormAlina and Mal are on the run from the Darkling until Alina gets tired of hiding and decides to take back some of the control by looking for the other amplifiers. The battle for control of the kingdom and relationships are put to the test in this sequel to Shadow and Bone.

Wowwie wow. DO NOT read this until you’ve read the first one because it will make no sense. I absolutely loved this book. There are moments that made me sigh and moments that made me want to scream. One of the characters was a little inconsistent for me in this novel, but hoping that gets fixed in book three (Darkling just seemed to give up too easily compared to the first book).

Recommended Ages: Grades 7 and up
